Our Beginnings
Opened in 2013 in Brooklyn, NY, by Dr. Jill Caruso, our mission at Faithful Friends Animal Hospital is to provide quality veterinary care in a comfortable environment at an affordable price. The name Faithful Friends reflects the love, loyalty and commitment our companion animals offer us. At the core of our values is the belief that every animal deserves a home, and that veterinarians should do their part to curb animal overpopulation by partnering with rescue organizations, promoting adoptions and participating in spay/neuter programs.
Our Philosophy
We understand a one-size-fits-all approach to medicine is not in your pet’s best interest. Our vets are here to establish a relationship with both you and your pet. During the exam your pet will receive individualized care based on his or her lifestyle, habits and needs, and our vets will take the time to answer all of your questions.
Our Hospital
Our hospital was designed with you and your pet in mind. When you arrive at Faithful Friends, you will be welcomed in our reception area with complementary treats for you and your pets. Photos of adoptable cats and dogs from our partnering rescue groups can be viewed while you wait for your appointment. When your appointment time comes you will be taken to an exam room based on the type of pet you have — a cat room or a dog room. Our cat exam room is kept free of the scent of dogs and has calming pheromones emitted into the air to help reduce the stress of the visit.
Should your pet need to stay with us for any period of time, you can rest assured they will be treated with compassion by our staff and will rest comfortably in our accommodations. All of our rooms are clean, temperature controlled, and soundproofed to reduce noise.
